Ms. Melissa Ballard

Mrs. Melissa was born in Montana, her family moved to Illinois when she was 11 and they enjoyed getting to care for a small mini farm there. 7 years later, Melissa completed a year of Bible college in Montana and moved to Alaska with her family, where she completed her early childhood education credential for preschool. Melissa has had a love for children that has grown into a passion for learning and growing in the knowledge of early childhood education. She loves seeing children's excitement and joy for learning and their passion for life.

She got married in the fall of 2023 and moved to Colorado with her husband. She started working at a traditional preschool and loved working with the 4 & 5 year olds. Since moving to Utah in the summer of 2024, Melissa connected with Stevie at Thriving Day and has loved learning about the Montessori Method and how to equip children to learn and grow.

Melissa loves spending free time with family and friends. She has been enjoying the Park City/Heber area and all it offers. Melissa loves hiking, biking, camping, and outdoor activities with her husband.
